FED:Reopen Nauru processing centre: Abbott

The federal opposition has again called on the Gillard government to abandon its plan
for a refugee processing centre in East Timor .. and instead move to reopen a detention
facility in Nauru.

Opposition Leader TONY ABBOTT says recent riots at detention centres are a result of
the government losing control of Australia's borders.

Mr ABBOTT's told ABC Radio that if the government's serious about fixing the problem
.. it will pick up the phone to the president of Nauru.
